    Works great, and a handy size... but do you need a lid?

    I'll keep this short and sweet; this is Lodge Logic's 3-qt. chicken fryer, without the lid. (Amazon says the chicken fryer is 4" deep, but Lodge's web site confirms both are 3" deep).So... if you already have a 10" lid, don't need another one and want this style pot, this is a good value.It has all the great traits you expect of Lodge Logic - excellent, even heat transmission, natural non-stick seasoning, and complete invulnerability to anything your burners can dish out. The size is very handy for things like chili for one or two, where the additional depth is welcome but a Dutch oven would be overkill, and the 10" skillet/chicken fryer/Dutch oven lid fits this pot. I'm very pleased with this deep skillet and already had a lid.So... if you have a Lodge lid and/or have a 5-qt Dutch oven in the same order, go for this pan!     Cast iron isn't what it used to be!!

    This is a great pan. I have several frying pans, and am saving up for a certain style Dutch oven and double-burner griddle. Cast iron, like anything, has its pros and cons. It is heavy, making it hard to lift and carry; but it also doesn't move if you bump the handle or are using both hands to hold another vessel that you're pouring from into the pan. It comes preseasoned, eliminating that step that should be repeated several times on a non-preseasoned pan prior to use. Things DON'T stick to this pan, as is always the misconception, precisely because of the preseasoning. It imparts a small amount of iron into the food, which is good, as most people are deficient in iron. Cleanup is a bit tedious (no soap or detergent, hot water with a stiff brush, no dishwasher, dry immediately); a small amount of extra time for the care and upkeep, but time well spent in the scheme of things. If it were to rust for whatever reason (you found grandma's pan in the leaky basement; she put it in... 5/5 L. I use this conditioner, and the accompanying keratin shampoo and keratin miracle oil, and for the first time in my life my hair is smooth and shiny. No more frizz and feeling like a bail of straw.     Does what's expected, honest pricing

    Just in case someone may feel guilty for not paying a lot more for, basically the same thing, let's look at our top of the line offer, and do a quick comparison.This item supports the HDMI 1.3b standard which is almost as good as it gets (1.3c doesn't add anything special). Any HDMI 1.3 cable can carry up to 10.2 Gbit/s. Hmmm... I suppose the Monster is much better, right? Well... it "guarantees a certified cable bandwidth of 10.2" Okay, but the Monster also supports "x.v.Color, and Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD". It turns out that, all of the above, and more, are part of the HDMI 1.3 specs and they are fully supported by every cable that complies to the standard and can be had for about 90% less in the Mediabridge.     Excellent Choice and Value for Money

    Ok so I am a girl and I am not much of a techie but I didn't want to spend $100 on an HDMI cable. I came to Amazon and read a lot of the product reviews.I first purchased the the HDMI cable from ClearAV, it was inexpesive and not the best product. It cost me a little over $4 for the item and S&H. I tested it on my upconverting Panasonic DVD player on 1080i resolution on my 40" 1080p Samsung LCD TV but it had poor signal quality and the cable was not an HDMI version 1.3. So when I played my DVDs the picture would go on and off and so would the sound and there was a flashing line on my screen.     Works great...

    This product works great, I put it on a 18' center console boat with a 40 gal gas tank, it took a bit of working with trying to get the screw holes to line up, user problem not product. I was however dissapointed that at no time did it specify that the gasket and screws come with it, so I had to waste an additional 13 bucks for a gasket/screw kit. After trimming the float rod to the right length everything works great, I would highly recommend this product, but DON'T purchase a seperate gasket, since it already has one with it, but it won't specify.     My Experience

    I have some comments on this saw. The factory blade that comes with it doesn't cut butter! I ran it for about 30 minutes on a 4130 pipe and it didn't make it past 2 mm. I am glad I bought the 3 pack of extra blades. I changed the issue blade out and it cut cleanly and quickly through the pipe in under 2 minutes. Seriously folks, you must buy the extra blades. The one that comes with it is garbage! I would rate it a 5 if my experience with the stock blade was as good as that with the backup packaged blades I bought at the time of my original purchase. 3/5 Forgiven - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)     Good saw, made for portability rather than stationary work

    Small size, easy to use, no issue cutting through materials.I have some negatives, but my usage has been stationary fabrication type work and not portable, so I probably should have bought a stationary table bandsaw instead of this.- there is no way to keep the saw on, you have to hold the switch down and there is no button to keep the switch engaged- the slides in front of the blade are very small for doing stationary work. they work well for cutting pipe or something that is held in place, but they don't work well when the saw is held stationary and you're cutting the pipes- would have been nice if there was a way for the saw to self-support itself in a standing verticle position, so the saw blade was up and down. again, probably my mistake for buying this instead of a table top band saw.     creepy and intriguing yarn

    This is one of my most favorite DS9 novels ever written, for many reasons. If you've read the plot summary above, then you know that the gist of this book is as follows: strange ship comes through wormhole from Gamma Quadrant with incredible technology, Bajor/Federation and Cardassia dispute ownership, crew of ship is dead killed by ship, ship is sentient, takes over station. Okay, now that the plot summary is out of the way, let me tell you why I like this book. This is vintage DS9. The station is still rather run-down and defenseless and every once in a while the Cardassians come to pester them and there's not much they can do about it. I loved that era, because I'm one of the true DS9er's who was loyal to the series from day one, before Worf and wars and all that. Another thing is the "pup" that one of the reviewers on this page was so confused about. The "computer pup" in the book is actually a sentient computer program that pestered the crew in the... 4/5 Kevin D.     Through alien eyes

    This is the tenth in the series of DEEP SPACE 9 tie-in novels and is set early in the series chronology. STAR TREK tie in novels come in many forms. Some are action adventures, others are thrillers, or mysteries, or romances or comedies or just about any sort of genre set in the STAR TREK universe. Some actually do actually actually do take the reader 'where no one has gone before' and to look at the universe from a totally different point of view. VALHALLA is one of those.Bajor has been experiencing a series of Cardassian incursions into their airspace. Sisko and his staff investigate what is behind these violations of the treaty and discover that once again Cardassia is experiencing political turmoil with various factions vying for control.     DS9 #10 Valhalla - A very well told early DS9 tale!

    Surprisingly enough, "Valhalla" was only the first of two Star Trek novels for this outstanding author. I found his writing style to be fairly well paced and he had a thorough grasp of the characters and the overall theme of the series at the time in which this novel was published. This type of Star Trek Deep Space Nine novel is truly what DS9 was about at that time; a mystery from the Gamma Quadrant floating through the wormhole and the good old Cardassians from right next door, coming to waive their flag and make threats. It would certainly be nice to see this author make a return to the Star Trek universe after so many years away.The cover art for this novel is pretty much standard fair for the time in which it was published and can even be considered lower than that considering the extremely poor rendition of Major Kira Nerys (Nana Visitor), which I find it surprising that she checked off on it.The premise:The Cardassians are raising the tension levels on the station... 4/5 K. Pioneer 10 and its sister ship Pioneer 11 were designed to live up to their names: as first-time explorers intended to both gather data and report on conditions in the asteroid belt and in Jupiter-space; how they fared would be critical in the planning and technology of any future missions. The Pioneer plaques are a pair of gold anodized aluminum plaques which were placed on board the 1972 Pioneer 10 and 1973 Pioneer 11 spacecraft, featuring a pictorial message from humanity, in case either Pioneer 10 or 11 are intercepted by extraterrestrial beings. The plaques show the nude figures of a human male and female along with several symbols that are designed to provide information about the origin of the spacecraft. The Pioneer spacecrafts were the first human-built objects to leave the solar system. The plaque is attached to the antenna support struts in a position that shields it from erosion by stellar dust.
