  don't put a whole lot into this review - but fit was narrow / tight

  previous shoe was barricade 6, which i loved. it got worn so i went looking for replacement, tried on barricade team 2 and barricade 2 (yes, apparently they're still making it due to popular demand). i kept my worn barricade 6 on 1 foot and tried each of the others on the other foot. the barricade team 2 was very noticeably tight on the outside middle of my foot. i don't know if this is on purpose, but i didn't find it comfortable so i quickly dismissed it. i wasn't in love with the barricade 2; however, it felt very similar to my barricade 6 so i took it home. time will tell. 2/5 Scott Ferrell - See all my reviews, May 14, 2012

  Adidas Barricade has been long time in the market and has gained a solid reputation of being very good because they have great durability and feet support. But let's review main characteristics expected from these tennis shoes:1. Comfort. UNANIMOUS opinion: These tennis shoes NEED a break in period that varies according user. Initially Barricade 6.0 feel very stiff, but as sneakers are wear for 2 - 6 weeks they become more flexible. So, don't let them fool you at the very first use, be patient and give these shoes a period of time to adapt. AFTER the break in period they become very comfortable. Rating: 4,3/52. Weight: Barricade 6.0 sneakers are heavy (15,8 oz.). Although Adidas has tried to lessen shoes weight, these feel heavy, even more for recreational players.   Great fit

  The shoes at first, just like any pair of shoes, took some time to break in. After a few uses, I finally feel really comfortable using them and move around the court with a bit more speed because of these shoes. I hope they can keep up with the wear and tear I will be putting it through in the next two months +. Its expensive, but if you're a committed tennis player who plays at least twice a week, definitely invest in the gear that can keep up with your desire to improve. 5/5 Roger E.   I bought this shirt (in store) and I loved the texture and design. It was a very light cotton with nice graphics. What I didn't realize until later was how long it was. It fits my body perfectly but it goes down really far. If you are tall then you found the right shirt! Get it! But I am not that tall.   I keep coming back to the Barricade

  What's not to like about these shoes, durable (more than any other tennis shoes traction on court is amazing. But what's traction without stability. I'm a grinder, love to chase down balls and make my opponent make the mistake, and make em pay for it.Although these are stiffer than some other shoes in the beginning it breaks in fast (couple of hours) and they'll feel like your own two feet.   I bought this headband because my hair was getting too long and kept hitting my face when I ran, but this thing works like a charm! Keeps the hair out of my face, as well as sweat.It's stretchy, comfortable, and completely adjustable.   Best tennis shoes I've ever worn.

  Barricade II's have been one of the best selling tennis shoes because they are the BEST. Their popularity is evidenced by the fact that every year, Adidas comes out with a new version of the Barricade shoe (I think they're on VI now), but they keeping making and selling Barricade II's. They don't even cost much less despite how old of a model they are. I've owned at least 3 different pairs of them now, and the only reason I'll ever buy anything else is if I just get a really good deal. This shoe has everything a serious tennis player could want: comfort, support, durability, and in my opinion they look good. I guess everyone's got different feet, but if you're just trying to find a good benchmark tennis shoe, this is it. I even wear mine to play basketball because they are so much more comfortable and lighter than basketball shoes typically are. 5/5 Bryan D.   Excellent Team Version of Pro Shoe...

  Great concept...create a lighter weight shoe with 90% of features of the high-end model at a lower price. I agree that the Barricades 6's are pro-level shoes, but they are not particularly comfortable and they are horribly heavy. If you are a light to mid-weight player who values the ability to move quickly on the court without sacrificing durability in a shoe...this is the ideal model. I formerly played in Prince T22's but these are far superior from a stability, durability, and support perspective. I have the black/silver version and they are some of the best looking shoes I've every owned. Haven't played in them in the heat of mid-summer yet, so that may be the only drawback to the black color and limited ventilation. The raised heel and lower forefoot really seems to keep me on my toes, so I find myself moving quicker at the net, too.   I will begin this review by mentioning that I am partial to Adidas and New Balance shoes from the get go. Most Nike shoes are too narrow for my foot, and thus, though stylish, they are uncomfortable and not worth the purchase. These Adidas Barricade Team shoes are thoroughly modern. I get compliments on them too. They are so nice that I often wear them with preppier clothes and they fit the look. They are also incredibly comfortable shoes. I have found that legit tennis shoes usually have a wider, more comfortable stance than running shoes, although I own several pairs of New Balance running and hiking shoes. These are quality shoes.
