  Possibly the best pair of shorts for running that I have ever purchased! The material breathes extremely well and is very flexible with some stretch. The shorts are cut so that they are not baggy and don't go too far down the leg. They do not have pockets. That was something that I was specifically looking for because I don't want the extra material when wearing them during road races. While running, my attention never goes to my shorts.   Deceptive sizing

  Even though I chose the XL size from the 'adidas Men's Tiro 11 Short' page, I was sent 'adidas Boys 8-20 Youth Tiro 11 Short, Light Maroon/White, X-Large' which fits my waist perfectly but was incredibly tight around my thighs. On the product page I do not see any mention of 'youth' sizing at all, but on my previous orders (and on the tag) it says it is 'youth' sized. Sending these back.   My shiny shorts do shine so shiny.

  I like these shorts pretty well. I use them more for general exercise than for basketball. When I run in them, the internal seams are smooth enough that they don't hang up on my knee. This is also the case when I do squats while wearing them. They are thick enough that what you have under them isn't outlined and you don't feel the breeze. The pockets feel like they're supposed to be there, rather than an after thought as in some other shorts. The pockets also seem sturdy enough to actually put a house or car key into without worry. The draw-string, although smooth, stays tied. It is rather pleasant to have the knot stay tight and the shorts remain where you want them.All that and sharp looking to boot.   I love my Nike basketball shorts, but when it comes to these Adidas basketball shorts, even the Nike ones can't quite compare. The main difference is these shorts run just slightly larger than my Nike ones, which makes for a more comfortable fit and a looser experience while playing ball.   First, these are soccer shorts. They don't have pockets because soccer shorts don't have pockets. You don't want some guy grabbing your pocket when you are jostling for the ball, and you don't want someone bumping against you with a big wad of keys or whatever else in their pocket. They are not running shorts or workout shorts or casual shorts. Complaining that they don't have pockets is like complaining that they don't have belt loops.The quality is great and they fit well. Just be aware of what the product is before you buy it. If you are using these to play soccer, or if you leave your stuff in a locker at the gym (like you should), then these will work well for you.
